ONYX is a mental health organization ran by Howard University students who share a common goal towards transcending the awareness among mental health within our community through addressing the issues within the black community as well as devising solutions to combat them.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are geared towards helping not only our Howard family through their matriculation but the DC residents when it comes with any mental health problems. We are judgement free and want to help you. We are your outlet when you want us to be.

MEMBERSHIP
In order to be a member, you have to have the
following listed below completed
Student must be currently enrolled at Howard University as an on-campus, first time in college student.
​To gain membership into the organization the individual must satisfy the requirements of the application process as well as an interview process.
Members must pay annual membership dues, which are non-refundable and subject to change at a time scheduled by the Executive Board. Dues must be paid in order for members to remain active in the organization. The amount of annual membership dues (paid by all members) is to be determined by the Executive Board and may be changed by a two-thirds majority vote at a general body meeting.
